Lefkas Mullet Bottarga from the Katopodis family are made in Brazil, since 1955 in the state of Rio de Janeiro and Santa Catarina according to the tradition of the ilha of Lefkada, in a crafty manner, following the most elevated standards of hygiene and care, in quality and excellence, in the aim to satisfy the most exigent palates of the consumer that appreciates this Mediterranean jewel.

It is a fresh product, elaborated annually during the months of May until July, only, a season when the flat head mullets are fished in our seacoast. For the time being we are making available to a restricted market of Brazil, United States of America, Japan France and Italy.
